Funguary is an art challenge where you draw/paint a bunch of mushroom related art. It goes on during February. Each week had a theme with 7 suggested mushrooms🍄
I just had to participate in this challenge!
I only painted one rock per week, but I had a lot of fun with it.😄
Week 1 had the theme “Spooky”, week 2 “Colorful”, week 3 “Poisonous” and week 4 “Cute/Pretty”
The mushrooms: 1st rock – Inky cap.
2nd rock – Amanita muscaria, Parrot waxcap & Chanterelle
3rd rock – Amanita muscaria, Death cap, Mycena rose, Poison fire coral & Verdigris Agaric
4th rock – Veiled lady, Plums and custard fungus, Podoserpula miranda & Wrinkled peach
Week 01 – Spooky
These mushrooms are called “Inky Cap” and they look a bit scary if you ask me💀
I gave them ghost faces to make it extra spooky👻

Week 02 – Colorful
I would write something about the rock here, but there’s not MUSHROOM🤪

Week 03 – Poisonous
Umm… so does anyone know where that knife came from?🔪
All the mushrooms here are poisonous, and I the mushroom girl should look like the mushroom called “Death Cap”
I’ve named her Killer Queen, as she is the deadly Queen of the forest floor.

Week 04 – Cute/Pretty
All the mushrooms for this prompt are so pretty😍
It was hard to chose just one or two, so I drew 4 different on one…
I think this was fun to experiment with, but I also think it got a bit out of hand… (and maybe a bit crazy🤪)

I’m really happy that I decided to take part in the #Funguary challenge❤🍄
I got to experiment a bit with mushrooms (and mushroom characters) and I got some pretty rocks out of it too🥰
