MerMay is an art challenge where artists from all over the world draws a mermaid every day during the month of may.

You can choose to draw mermaids from a promptlist, or just draw random mermaids.
MerMay can be done in any medium, and if you cant participate everyday, you can choose a few days instead. As long as you create 1 mermaid artwork in may, you’re participating in the challenge.

MerMay has been around for years, but I only just heard about it when I first started posting my art on social media in december 2020. I was so excited to participate in the challenge, for my first time ever, and I eventually ended up making my own promptlist for 2021. Many people joined in, and we had a lot of fun with it.😄

I actually had so much fun, that I decided to participate again in 2022 and 2023.
